Hi, I'm Erin! I'm a multi-platfrom video journalist currently working in BBC Wales News. I have experience across TV, radio, online, but most extensively, digital video and social media. 

I began my journalistic career writing various articles for a number of online publications such as the Everyday Magazine. In 2021, I was lucky enough to gain a scholarship to study on the MA Journalism course at Goldsmiths, University of London, where I discovered a passion for visual media.

The following year I got my dream job: the opportunity to train as a journalist at the BBC as a part of their Advanced Journalism Apprenticeship. I moved across many teams during my time as an apprentice, immediately jumping in the deep end as a member of the social media team at BBC News. There, I produced social posts and TikTok videos that went out to audiences of 25+ million people. Eventually, I began moving around the BBC Wales newsroom, gaining experience writing for online, producing for radio and TV and creating digital video. 

Finally, after just 1.5 years on the apprenticeship, I took a leap of faith and applied for a permanent role as a Video Journalist at BBC Wales News, which leads us to where I am today - doing what I love all day, every day!
